AI Makeup

This page explains how to delete your AI Makeup account and what happens to your data when you do. Required by both Apple's App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play's Account Deletion policy — published here so you can find it without installing the app.

How to delete your account

Inside the app (fastest)

1. Open AI Makeup and sign in if you aren't already.
2. Go to the Me tab.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.
4. You'll be signed out immediately. Deletion completes within minutes.

By email (if you can't sign in)

Email contact@aylantech.com from the address associated with your account. Subject line:

Delete my AI Makeup account

Body:

I am the holder of the AI Makeup account under <email>. Please delete my account and all associated data.

We complete email-based deletions within 7 business days and confirm via reply.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account we remove:

• Your profile (username, email, timezone, any preferences).
• Your saved looks and designs, and your skin-tone / feature analysis results.
• Your stylist-chat history and any images you attached in chat (stored in Firebase Storage).
• Your device push tokens and notification preferences.
• Subscription history within our database (the App Store / Play Store copy is governed by their separate policies — cancel there too).
• Authentication tokens and password hash.

Photos you submitted for try-on and analysis are discarded at processing time, so they are not retained to delete. Account deletion is immediate from our backend and propagated to backups within 30 days.

What we are legally required to keep

We retain the minimum required by law, only for as long as required:

• Payment records (invoice number, amount, date, store transaction id) for accounting and tax reasons, typically up to 10 years. We do not retain the link between these records and your name beyond what the law requires.
• Abuse / fraud signals (device identifiers, install id) for a limited period to prevent the same device from immediately creating a new account after a refund-abuse pattern, and to enforce free-tier limits.

Cancelling a subscription (separate from deletion)

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple / Google. To stop a recurring charge:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → AI Makeup → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → AI Makeup → Cancel.

If you delete your account while a subscription is still active and within the trial / refund window of the store, contact the store for any applicable refund.
