BodyFat AI

These Terms are a contract between you and Aylan Apps (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the BodyFat AI mobile app, our backend API, and the related website. By creating an account or installing the app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, don't use the app.

1. The app, in plain language

BodyFat AI is a body-fat % estimation and physique-tracking tool. You take a full-body photo; an AI estimates your body fat %, lean / fat mass, BMI, FFMI, a physique score, per-muscle-group scores, and calorie / macro targets, and can generate a goal-physique image from your own photo. It is a general fitness and motivation tool — nothing more.

Specifically, BodyFat AI:

• is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or clinical body-composition measurement (e.g. DEXA or BIA);
• does not provide medical, dietetic, or weight-management medical advice;
• does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate or that you will reach any displayed goal;
• does not rate or evaluate other people's bodies.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have the legal right to enter into this contract in your country.
• Some features (paid subscriptions, AI goal-image generation) may be unavailable in your region.

3. Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
• Don't share your account.
• Don't create multiple accounts to bypass the free-scan limit or fraud-prevention systems.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §9).

You may delete your account at any time from Me tab → Delete account, or by emailing contact@aylantech.com.

4. What you can upload

Only upload photos that:

• show your own body;
• are appropriate (no explicit nudity, no minors, no illegal content);
• you own or are licensed to use.

By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence strictly limited to running the analysis or goal-image generation you requested, storing and showing the result back to you, and operating, fixing, and securing our infrastructure.

We do not use your uploads for advertising, public display, or to train external AI models.

5. AI estimates — what to expect

• Body fat %, scores, and rankings are AI estimates from a single photo, not clinical measurements.
• Results can vary with photo quality, pose, lighting, clothing, and the metrics you provide.
• Two scans of similar photos can differ because of model variance.
• Goal-physique images are motivational visualisations, not predictions or guarantees of any result.
• Consult a qualified professional before making major diet or training changes.

6. Subscriptions and payments

6.1 Plans

We offer recurring Premium subscriptions. Current prices are shown in the app. Free users get 1 free scan with a complete report; Premium unlocks unlimited scans, the progress timeline, compare and trends, the physique score and per-muscle breakdown, percentile ranking, goal-image generation, and calorie / macro targets.

6.2 How it's billed

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). They handle billing, refunds, and renewals. We manage entitlements through RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

6.3 Free trial

Some plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts and you are charged the full subscription price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6.4 Cancellation

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Android: Play Store → Subscriptions.
• We don't run our own billing, so we can't cancel for you.

6.5 Refunds

Refunds are governed by Apple's / Google's policies. Per store rules, we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a current billing period. Repeated refund abuse may result in account closure (see §9).

7. Content + intellectual property

• Aylan Apps owns the app, the brand, the design, the source code, the AI prompts, and everything we wrote. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell any of it.
• You own the photos you upload. We get the limited licence in §4 — nothing more.
• AI-generated goal-physique images we hand back to you are yours to use personally (save, track, share with friends or a coach). Don't use them to deceive others, make health or transformation claims, or pass them off as real photographs.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app to harass, defame, shame, or impersonate anyone;
• scan or generate images from photos of people who haven't consented;
• upload photos of minors;
• attempt to break, probe, or overload our backend;
• circumvent the free-scan limit or fraud-prevention checks (e.g. by creating many accounts, faking device IDs);
• use the app for any illegal purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if continued service exposes us, you, or other users to legal / safety risk, or to comply with law. We give notice when reasonably possible. If we terminate without cause and you have an active paid subscription, we refund the unused portion (subject to the platform's mechanics). You can terminate at any time by deleting your account.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties of any kind.
• Estimates and goal images are not medical, dietetic, or weight-management medical advice and must not be relied on for any health decision.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — they apply only to the extent legally permitted.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes trigger an in-app notice 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't, delete your account before the effective date.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes go to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country says otherwise. Where required, you may also use your local consumer dispute-resolution or small-claims procedures.
