These Terms are a contract between you and Aylan Apps (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Looksmax Studio mobile app, our backend API, and the related website. By creating an account or installing the app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, don't use the app.
1. The app, in plain language
Looksmax Studio is a cosmetic and self-improvement tool. You give it a photo or audio recording; an AI scores it on aesthetic dimensions and suggests changes you might make to your routine. It is informative and motivational — nothing more.
Specifically, Looksmax Studio:
- is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or replacement for a doctor, dermatologist, dentist, fitness coach, or therapist;
- does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice;
- does not guarantee any specific outcome from following its recommendations;
- does not rate other people — it scores your own submitted scans only.

2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 17 years old.
- You must have the legal right to enter into this contract in your country.
- Some features (paid subscriptions, AI image generation) may be unavailable in your region.
3. Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- Don't share your account.
- Don't create multiple accounts to bypass our free-tier limits or fraud-prevention systems.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §9).
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing support@aylanapps.com.
4. What you can upload
Only upload media that:
- shows you (no other people unless they have consented);
- is appropriate (no nudity beyond what's needed for body / posture scans, no minors, no illegal content);
- you own or are licensed to use.
By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence strictly limited to running the AI analysis you requested, storing and showing the result back to you, and operating, fixing, and securing our infrastructure.
We do not use your uploads for advertising, public display, or to train external AI models.
5. AI analysis — what to expect
- Scores are estimates based on what the AI can infer from your submission. They are not absolute truths.
- Two scans of the same person can differ because of lighting, angle, pose, or model variance.
- We aim for honest, calibrated scores — but treat them as a starting point, not a definitive judgement.
- Recommendations are general. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything that could affect your health.
6. Subscriptions and payments
6.1 Plans
We offer recurring subscriptions (weekly, monthly, annual) and a one-time lifetime plan. Current prices are shown in the app.
6.2 How it's billed
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). They handle billing, refunds, and renewals. We manage entitlements through RevenueCat.
6.3 Free trial
Some plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you are charged the full subscription price.
6.4 Cancellation
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Android: Play Store → Subscriptions.
- We don't run our own billing, so we can't cancel for you.
6.5 Refunds
Refunds are governed by Apple's / Google's policies. Repeated refund abuse may result in account closure (see §9).
7. Content + intellectual property
- Aylan Apps owns the app, the brand, the design, the source code, the AI prompts, and everything we wrote. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell any of it.
- You own the media you upload. We get the limited licence in §4 — nothing more.
- AI-generated images we hand back to you (e.g. “future you” preview, hairstyle try-on) are yours to use personally. Don't claim them as human-made; don't use them to deceive others; don't pass them off as someone else.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone;
- scan people who haven't consented;
- attempt to break, probe, or overload our backend;
- circumvent the free-tier limit or fraud-prevention checks (e.g. by creating many accounts, faking device IDs);
- use the app for any illegal purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if continued service exposes us, you, or other users to legal / safety risk, or to comply with law. We give notice when reasonably possible. If we terminate without cause and you have an active paid subscription, we refund the unused portion (subject to the platform's mechanics). You can terminate at any time by deleting your account.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The app is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — they apply only to the extent legally permitted.

12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes trigger an in-app notice 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't, delete your account before the effective date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes go to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country says otherwise.
