Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your MO Letter account and all associated data directly in the app — no email or support ticket needed.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open MO Letter and go to the Me tab.
  2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Export first if you want to keep anything. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Save the PDFs you care about before you delete — we cannot recover them afterwards.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: email, username, and the links to Apple / Google sign-in.
  • Every CV you built or imported, and its contents.
  • Every cover letter and draft, including signatures saved with them.
  • Every saved opportunity: the job offer, the interview-prep pack, and its application status.
  • Your subscription record and free-generation counter on our side.

What we keep, and why

We retain one small anti-abuse record made only of hashed signals — a hash of your email address, hashed device fingerprints, the platform identifiers used for fraud checks, and the IP addresses tied to registration. It contains none of your CVs, letters, or job offers. It exists so a deleted account cannot be cycled to farm free AI generations, and it cannot be used to reconstruct your career content.

Files on your device

PDFs you already exported and saved or shared from your phone stay on your phone. Delete them yourself if you want them gone.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — subscriptions are managed by the App Store / Google Play. Cancel there first:

iOS

Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MO Letter → Cancel Subscription.

Android

Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MO Letter → Cancel.

Can't access the app?

Email contact@aylantech.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days.
