Redo Room

This Privacy Policy explains what data Redo Room collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. The app is operated by Aylan Apps (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the app you accept this policy.

1. What Redo Room is

Redo Room is an AI interior redesign app. You photograph a room, mark the parts you want changed (circle, box, tap, or write a note), pick styles, and our backend forwards the photo and your instructions to a third-party image model — Seedream by ByteDance, accessed via BytePlus ModelArk — which renders redesigned versions of your room. Generated images are saved to your account so you can revisit, iterate, and share them. Results are visualizations for inspiration — not construction plans, measurements, or professional interior-design advice.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account data

• Email address (mandatory for full accounts; anonymous accounts use a device-derived synthetic ID).
• Hashed password (or sign-in token from Apple / Google when you use those options).
• Username.

2.2 Room photos, annotations, and generated images

• The room photos you capture or upload for redesign.
• The marks, notes, and style choices you add to them.
• The AI-generated redesigns and furniture layers we hand back to you, stored against your account.
• Your project history within the app.

Room photos can incidentally include personal items. Please avoid photographing people, documents, or anything you would not want processed by an AI service.

2.3 Purchases and credits

• Your credit balance and a full ledger of every credit movement (grants, spends, refunds) — shown to you in the app.
• Subscription / purchase state from the App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We never see your card details.

2.4 Device + abuse-prevention signals

• A per-install random identifier.
• A hashed device fingerprint (brand / model / OS, hashed locally before upload).
• Platform-stable identifiers used only for fraud prevention so a reinstall cannot reset the free daily credits.
• Crash reports and anonymous usage analytics (Firebase) to keep the app working.

3. How your photos are processed (AI disclosure)

When you generate a redesign, your room photo and instructions are transmitted to BytePlus ModelArk (the platform hosting the Seedream image model) to produce the result, then the results are stored on our servers. We show you a consent notice before your first upload. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell them. The AI provider processes them to generate your images under their data-processing terms.

4. How we use your data

• Generate the redesigns you request and keep your project history.
• Operate the credit system, including automatic refunds when a generation fails.
• Prevent abuse of the free tier.
• Fix crashes and improve the app.
• Send you optional notifications (results ready, daily credits refreshed) if you allow them.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your photos, generations, and account data are kept while your account exists. Deleting your account (in the app: Me → Account → Delete account) permanently removes your account data, photos, and generated images from our systems. See the Account Deletion page for the exact steps.

6. Third-party services

• BytePlus ModelArk (Seedream) — image generation.
• Firebase (Google) — image storage, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications.
• RevenueCat — purchase management.
• Apple / Google sign-in — optional authentication.

We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with other third parties, except when required by law.

7. Your rights

• Access, export, or delete your data at any time.
• Withdraw AI-processing consent (this disables generation features).
• Complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

Redo Room is not intended for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
