These Terms are a contract between you and Aylan Apps (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the TattooLab mobile app, our backend API, and the related website. By creating an account or installing the app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, don't use the app.
1. The app, in plain language
TattooLab is a tattoo design and visualisation tool. You describe a tattoo idea or upload an inspiration photo; an AI generates a tattoo design and preview. You can also upload a photo of your body to see the design visualised on your own skin (“try-on”). It is informative and decorative — nothing more.
Specifically, TattooLab:
- is not a medical, dermatological, or tattoo-studio-safety tool;
- does not provide medical, allergy, ink-safety, or aftercare advice;
- does not guarantee that any generated design can be reproduced by a real tattoo artist or that it will look the same once inked on real skin;
- does not rate or evaluate other people's bodies.
Always consult a licensed, professional tattoo artist before getting any tattoo.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You must have the legal right to enter into this contract in your country.
- Some features (paid subscriptions, AI image generation) may be unavailable in your region.
3. Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- Don't share your account.
- Don't create multiple accounts to bypass our free-tier limits or fraud-prevention systems.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §9).
You may delete your account at any time from Me tab → Delete account, or by emailing contact@aylantech.com.
4. What you can upload
Only upload media that:
- shows your own body (for try-on) or inspiration tattoo / artwork reference imagery you have a right to use;
- is appropriate (no nudity, no minors, no illegal content, no copyrighted artwork you don't have a licence for);
- you own or are licensed to use.
By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence strictly limited to running the AI generation or try-on you requested, storing and showing the result back to you, and operating, fixing, and securing our infrastructure.
We do not use your uploads for advertising, public display, or to train external AI models.
5. AI generation — what to expect
- Generated images are artistic visualisations. They are not predictions of how a real tattoo will look once inked.
- Two generations of the same prompt can differ because of model variance.
- The try-on overlay approximates how a design would look on your skin — it is not a precise simulation. Real-world results depend on the artist, ink, technique, lighting, skin tone and healing.
- Talk to a licensed tattoo artist about placement, sizing, and anything that could affect your skin health.
6. Subscriptions and payments
6.1 Plans
We offer recurring weekly and annual Pro subscriptions. Current prices are shown in the app. Free users get a limited allowance; Pro removes these limits.
6.2 How it's billed
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). They handle billing, refunds, and renewals. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. We manage entitlements through RevenueCat.
6.3 Free trial
Some plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you are charged the full subscription price.
6.4 Cancellation
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Android: Play Store → Subscriptions.
- We don't run our own billing, so we can't cancel for you.
6.5 Refunds
Refunds are governed by Apple's / Google's policies. Repeated refund abuse may result in account closure (see §9).
7. Content + intellectual property
- Aylan Apps owns the app, the brand, the design, the source code, the AI prompts, and everything we wrote. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell any of it.
- You own the media you upload. We get the limited licence in §4 — nothing more.
- AI-generated tattoo images we hand back to you are yours to use personally (save, share with friends, take to your tattoo artist). Don't claim them as human-made; don't use them to deceive others; don't pass them off as someone else's work.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone;
- try designs on photos of people who haven't consented;
- attempt to break, probe, or overload our backend;
- circumvent the free-tier limit or fraud-prevention checks (e.g. by creating many accounts, faking device IDs);
- use the app for any illegal purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if continued service exposes us, you, or other users to legal / safety risk, or to comply with law. We give notice when reasonably possible. If we terminate without cause and you have an active paid subscription, we refund the unused portion (subject to the platform's mechanics). You can terminate at any time by deleting your account.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The app is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — they apply only to the extent legally permitted.

12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes trigger an in-app notice 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't, delete your account before the effective date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes go to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country says otherwise.
