VShape

These Terms are a contract between you and Aylan Apps (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the VShape mobile app, our backend API, and the related website. By creating an account or installing the app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, don't use the app.

1. The app, in plain language

VShape is an AI physique / V-taper body-shape analysis and self-improvement tool. You take or upload a body photo (typically a shirtless upper-body / torso photo); an AI analyses your V-taper (shoulder-to-waist ratio) and returns an overall V-taper score, per-muscle-group sub-scores (e.g. shoulders, chest, lats, shoulder-to-waist), a goal / target ratio, and personalized self-improvement tips (training and physique-oriented). It is a self-improvement and entertainment tool — nothing more.

Specifically, VShape:

• is not a medical, clinical, body-composition (e.g. DEXA / BIA), or professional fitness assessment;
• is not a diagnosis, and its scores are not a measure of your health, fitness, or worth;
• does not guarantee the accuracy of any score, ratio, or tip;
• does not rate or evaluate other people without their consent.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You must have the legal right to enter into this contract in your country (if you are a minor, with the consent of a parent or guardian where required).
• Some features (paid subscriptions) may be unavailable in your region.

3. Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
• Don't share your account.
• Don't create multiple accounts to bypass the free-scan limit or fraud-prevention systems.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §9).

You may delete your account at any time from Settings / Account → Delete account, or by emailing support@aylanapps.com.

4. What you can upload

Only upload photos that:

• show your own body (or the body of a consenting adult);
• are appropriate (no explicit nudity, no minors other than yourself, no illegal content);
• you own or are licensed to use.

By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence strictly limited to running the analysis you requested, storing and showing the result back to you, and operating, fixing, and securing our infrastructure.

We do not use your uploads for advertising, public display, or to train external AI models.

5. AI estimates — what to expect

• Scores, ratios, and tips are subjective AI estimates from a single body photo, not objective facts.
• Results can vary with photo quality, pose, angle, lighting, and posture.
• Two scans of similar photos can differ because of model variance.
• Physique aesthetics are subjective and vary by person and goal; a single photo and an AI model cannot capture a real person or their health.
• Consult a qualified professional (a doctor, registered dietitian, or trainer) before making any significant decision (e.g. a major diet, training change, or procedure) based on a result.

6. Subscriptions and payments

6.1 Plans

We offer recurring Premium subscriptions. Current prices are shown in the app. Free users get 1 free body scan (lifetime); Premium unlocks unlimited scans plus the full analysis and personalized tips.

6.2 How it's billed

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). They handle billing, refunds, and renewals. We manage entitlements through RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

6.3 Free trial

Some plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts and you are charged the full subscription price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6.4 Cancellation

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Android: Play Store → Subscriptions.
• We don't run our own billing, so we can't cancel for you.

6.5 Refunds

Refunds are governed by Apple's / Google's policies. Per store rules, we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a current billing period. Repeated refund abuse may result in account closure (see §9).

7. Content + intellectual property

• Aylan Apps owns the app, the brand, the design, the source code, the AI prompts, and everything we wrote. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell any of it.
• You own the photos you upload. We get the limited licence in §4 — nothing more.
• The scores, ratios, and tips we hand back to you are yours to use personally. Don't use them to deceive, shame, or harass others, or to make claims about anyone.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app to harass, defame, shame, or impersonate anyone;
• scan photos of people who haven't consented;
• upload photos of minors other than yourself, or any explicit / nude content;
• attempt to break, probe, or overload our backend;
• circumvent the free-scan limit or fraud-prevention checks (e.g. by creating many accounts, faking device IDs);
• use the app for any illegal purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if continued service exposes us, you, or other users to legal / safety risk, or to comply with law. We give notice when reasonably possible. If we terminate without cause and you have an active paid subscription, we refund the unused portion (subject to the platform's mechanics). You can terminate at any time by deleting your account.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties of any kind.
• Scores, ratios, and tips are not medical, clinical, body-composition, or professional fitness advice and must not be relied on for any such decision.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — they apply only to the extent legally permitted.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes trigger an in-app notice 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't, delete your account before the effective date.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes go to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country says otherwise. Where required, you may also use your local consumer dispute-resolution or small-claims procedures.
