AI Makeup is NOT a medical or dermatological tool.
The app is a beauty and styling tool. Its looks, try-ons, and skin-tone analysis are AI approximations. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin condition, and they cannot tell you whether a real product is safe for you.
AI Makeup is a virtual makeup try-on and design tool. This page spells out clearly what the app is and is not, so there's no confusion about how to read its output.
What AI Makeup is
- A look generator: you describe a vibe (occasion, colours, style) and an AI returns makeup-look previews.
- A try-on visualiser: upload a photo and an AI overlays a chosen look so you can get a rough idea.
- A skin-tone / feature helper: an AI suggests shades and styles that may suit your photo.
- A stylist chatbot and a personal library: save looks and share them with friends or your makeup artist.
What AI Makeup is NOT
Not a medical or dermatological tool
- It does not diagnose any skin, eye, or allergic condition.
- It cannot tell you whether a foundation, pigment, adhesive, or other product is safe for your skin or eyes.
- If you notice irritation, a rash, swelling, or an allergic reaction after using a real product, stop using it and see a doctor or dermatologist. The app is not an alternative.
Not a salon and not professional advice
- We are not your makeup artist, esthetician, or dermatologist.
- Always patch-test a new cosmetic and follow the manufacturer's instructions and warnings.
- Take special care around the eyes and lips, and never apply products not intended for those areas.
Not a guarantee a look will look the same in real life
- Generated images are artistic previews produced by a probabilistic AI model.
- The try-on overlay is an approximation. Real results depend on the actual products, your skin type and tone, application technique, and lighting.
- Shades and finishes frequently render differently on screen than on skin, and two generations of the same prompt can differ because of model variance.
Not a rating of other people
- The try-on feature is designed for your own photos.
- Don't run try-on against someone else's photo without their explicit consent, and never on a minor's photo without a guardian's consent.
- Your looks and try-ons are private to your account; we don't run public leaderboards or social feeds.
Take results to a professional before committing
If you love a generated look, save it and bring it to a qualified makeup artist. They can tell you which products achieve it, whether they suit your skin, and how to adapt the look for real life.
Acceptable use, briefly
- Don't use the app to harass, mock, or shame anyone.
- Don't run try-on against photos of people who haven't consented.
- Don't use the app on minors' photos without a guardian's consent.
- Don't pass off AI-generated looks as real photographs or as another person's original work.
Full acceptable-use rules live in the Terms of Service.
Limitation of liability
By using AI Makeup you accept that:
- We're not liable for outcomes when a real look does not match a generated preview.
- We're not liable for skin or eye reactions to products you choose to apply.
- The cap and full limitations are set out in §10 of the Terms of Service.
