This policy explains what the Bass Tuner app, published by Aylan Apps, does with information when you use it.
Bass Tuner has no sign-in and no account. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location, and the app does not use the camera.
The tuner listens through the microphone to measure the pitch of your instrument. The sound is analysed on your device, in memory, while the tuner is on screen. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can refuse or withdraw the microphone permission in your device settings; the tuner cannot work without it.
Your settings (selected tuning, reference pitch) and the record of which features you have unlocked are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
The app is free and funded by advertising served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time from Settings, Ad privacy choices, inside the app. On iPhone, the app also asks permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. For details on how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Some features are unlocked for a session by choosing to watch a video ad. Watching is always optional. The app records on your device that the feature is unlocked and until when. It does not send this to us.
The app may use Google Firebase to collect crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens are opened and whether an ad was shown. This information is not linked to your identity and is used only to fix problems and improve the app.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with third parties other than the service providers named above, or when the law requires it.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. Because the app has no account, we hold no profile about you. For data processed by Google for advertising, use the controls described above. For any question, write to us.
