This policy explains what the Rimtune app, published by Aylan Apps, does with information when you use it.
Rimtune has no sign-in and no account. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location, and the app does not use the camera.
Rimtune listens through the microphone while it is open to measure the pitch of each strike on your drum. Each strike is analysed on your device, in memory, and then discarded. Sound is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can refuse or withdraw the microphone permission in your device settings; the tuner cannot work without it.
Your kits, drums, target notes, rod readings and settings are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
Rimtune shows no ads, uses no advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites.
Rimtune Pro is a one time in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details; the store only tells the app whether the purchase belongs to your store account.
The app uses Google Firebase to collect crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens are opened and whether a strike gave a reading. This information is not linked to your identity and is used only to fix problems and improve the app.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with third parties other than the service providers named above, or when the law requires it.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. Because the app has no account, we hold no profile about you. For any question, write to us.
