1. Terms

By accessing our app, Translucent, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing Translucent.

The materials, software, and premium library content contained in Translucent are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to download and use Translucent for personal artistic and creative purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

• You may not modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the app software;
• You may not redistribute, resell, or share premium library images;
• You may not use premium library images for commercial redistribution;
• You may not attempt to bypass the premium purchase system;
• You may not remove any copyright or proprietary notations from the app;
• You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Aylan Apps at any time.

3. Premium Library License

When you purchase premium library access, you receive:

• Lifetime access to all 111+ premium tracing images;
• Access to all future images added to the premium library;
• Personal use rights for tracing, learning, and creating derivative artwork;
• The right to create and sell artwork based on traced premium images.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or share the premium library images;
• Claim the premium images as your original work;
• Use the images in competing tracing or educational products;
• Extract and republish the images in any format.

4. Camera and Photo Access

Translucent requires camera access to provide the real-time transparent overlay feature. By granting camera permission, you acknowledge that:

• Camera feeds are used only for live display and never recorded;
• You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to photograph any materials;
• You will use the camera feature responsibly and legally;
• The app does not store or transmit camera data.

5. User Content

When you import your own images into Translucent:

• You retain full ownership of your imported images;
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use imported images;
• You must not import images that violate copyright or intellectual property laws;
• Images are stored locally on your device only.

6. Disclaimer

The Translucent app and its features are provided on an 'as is' basis. Aylan Apps makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of the app for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The camera overlay feature depends on your device's camera quality and capabilities. Results may vary based on lighting conditions, surface materials, and device specifications.

7. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Aylan Apps or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, artwork, business interruption, or any creative outcomes) arising out of the use or inability to use Translucent.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any artwork you create using Translucent, whether from premium library images, imported images, or camera overlay tracing. We do not claim any rights to your creative work.

Premium library images remain the intellectual property of Aylan Apps and are licensed to you for personal use only.

10. Educational Use

Tracing is a legitimate educational tool used by artists throughout history. Translucent is designed to help users:

• Learn proper proportions and perspective;
• Develop hand-eye coordination;
• Study anatomy and form;
• Build confidence in drawing skills;
• Create professional-quality finished work.

Users are encouraged to use Translucent as a learning tool and to develop their own artistic skills over time.

11. Modifications

Aylan Apps may revise these terms of service at any time without prior notice. By using Translucent, you agree to be bound by the current version of these terms of service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

We may also update the app with new features, bug fixes, and additional premium library content at our discretion.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
